wrestling match

Kaylee cornered Cade and decided it would be fun to have a kissing wrestling match.

Man! I don't think there's any hope for this little guy!

The ref is about to call it a match! 1....2....3....4....

wow! After an amazing move Cade wins the match. Great form!

Kaylee can get around very well with her doggie paddle. She's taking swimming lessons right now.

Synchronized swimming is in Cade's future!

Today was so much fun. Let's do it again!

Cade will jump off the side of the pool over and over and over and over.....

Kaylee learns to master the water shooter.

a few funny moments

This week has been fun hanging out with Kelly and seeing some friends.

On Monday we went to the Pool with Sheena and her kiddos. We got to the subject of her friend Michelle's cat....Sheena said, "So my friend Michelle's cat had puppies." We had a great laugh. Sheena is so funny, even when she's not meaning to be that funny! Her slip-ups are great! What a silly sistah!
imagine that!
Yesterday Kelly and I were driving in from town and she asked an interesting/silly question. I replied to her question with my own answer. There was silence for a moment. Then she said..."You know, a lot of the things you say really make sense. You said something yesterday that made a lot of sense too." I'm glad that someone I talk to during the day can see the sense that I have! :)

IMO, this doesn't make sense!

too alike

Kelly is down visiting from Utah. We've had so much fun with her down here...I think I'm enjoying it the most. A couple weeks ago I was at Deseret Book and saw a statue that were Willow Tree. One was called Anniversary and I picked that up for my Parent's anniversary which was the next week. I spied one in the back that was called 'Two Alike'. It was Perfect. Although there was nothing to celebrate when Kelly was coming to visit, I thought it was the perfect thing to get her. I picked it up with anticipation of her receiving it and her reaction. I emailed my mom showing her this photo and that I was going to give it to Kelly. She thought it was a sweet idea. A touching sister gift.

Little did I know that Kelly had the same idea. She also went to Deseret Book and picked up a Willow Tree 'Two Alike' with the same idea. She came and showed Mom the statue. Mom didn't even blink or give any clue to Kelly that I had already told her I had bought the same exact figurine (and that's a BIG deal...Mom is usually the one who can't keep a secret...she'll usually give it away by the way she acts, knowing she shouldn't tell, but can't help how excited she is). Kelly was excited to see how I reacted. Would I cry and be really touched by the gift? probably!

So I go and pick up Kelly from the airport and she starts unpacking. She says she has a gift for me. I said I had one too. I followed her into her room and she gave me 'the box.' I said, 'no, you didn't!' and just started laughing. She was confused. I then led her to the kitchen where I had the other box. We had bought the same gift for each other and we had no idea.

I guess that's as twin as you can get! I love my twin sister Kelly. We're 'too alike'.

fathers day

Kaylee, Cade and I made a nice fathers day card for David. We also gave him a movie that he likes, Eragon...he liked it...especially since the gift was only 7.50 at Target!
Enjoy the Card!
(disclaimer: not for those easily grossed out by children doing things children do)
(card front)
(card inside)
(the little boogie on Cade's finger is one I drew and glued on the card. this is, though, something that Cade is known to do often. he brings us the yuckies to throw out)
Happy Fathers Day David. We LOVE You!

coloring cade

Intense at his work. Cade Monet.I think he might be near-sighted.
Masterpiece!

bathtime with auntie kelly

Auntie Kelly is here for a whole WEEK! We're so excited. She's been happily snapping pictures. Last night was bath night....always a favorite time to pose.
This is Kaylee's cubby squeeze.Kaylee looks so serious...almost model like!I think Kaylee looks just like her cousin Katilynn here. She was pulling pose after pose. Almost no time to snap them all! This shot took a while to get for her...she didn't quite get the feet thing. She's so posey!a pose for the group "KISS".
Kaylee and Cade enjoying all the attention.
They were asking for the cold water again....on purpose. Once we had begun squirting it on each other, Cade decided Kaylee wanted it more.
He sure loves seeing Kaylee suffer that COLD water!
I love this shot of them. Cute bright colors and smiles!
Two tub buddies. After getting all dressed for bed, Cade got our potatoe gun and began posing. You can't see it in this photo, but he has his legs spread wide apart.

who?

Last night David was telling me that he had downloaded some pedigree charts from his Grandma Williams' side of the family. He told me that there is an Alma, Moroni and Nephi on her side. I was excited for the idea to get some more name ideas for our little one's middle name. I said, "That great. It will be nice to see whose on the Lord's side." (Lord is Grandma Williams maiden name). We busted out laughing knowing that I had made a joke without thinking.

good training

Kelly and I were taught young to take care of our men. We often would comb our dads hair, give him the ultimate treatments and his favorite....back scratches with the roughest hair brushes we had.

insult to injury

Poor Cade has had quite a painful week. On Tuesday he got burned on the stovetop with his right hand. Last night, his left hand was smashed in the door.....guilty party's name will once again be witheld. He was sitting on the ground again last night with his OTHER hand in water. Eventually he wanted two waters, one for each hand.
Self Portrait by Cade

His other hand, the origional owie of the week has now sprouted a nice big blister in the center of his palm. He's been pretty careful not to poke at it and it hasn't popped yet. I'm hoping it will not burst, although it's kinda big.
