He's such a beautiful baby. Christina is going to have a hard time picking out her favorite!

Kaylee sits next to Conner in the car. She's the 'keeper of the binky'. She will help hold it in Conner's mouth when it falls out...over and over and over again.

She pays a lot of attention to what we say and do and will repeat what she observes, many times making us chuckle.

This is what I heard Kaylee say to Conner (regarding the binky):

"Keep it in your mouth, Dude!"

now, who do you think she learned that from?

David's favorite treat is now Kaylee's favorite treat. David LOVES italian ice...that actually might be an understatement. Kaylee has followed in her daddy's footsteps and requires a container for herself! Too cute.

David wore the sling I made while helping clean up after dinner. I'm so glad the sling fits him...a bit tight!

I was at Wal-Mart the other week and saw these slings. I have been wanting to get one for so long, they look so cute, but my are they expensive! It was 30 bucks for one! I had an idea. Buy it and copy the outline to make my own pattern, so that is what I did. I went to Joann's and picked up some fabric and made a few.

You can see Christina modeling one of the slings I made. She was just a few weeks from delivering her little boy, John. (actually, he was born TODAY!)

conner the sweet potato

I love these little pj's on Conner. He has such a cute little baby body and cute little round face. Who wouldn't wanna kiss this!?

Conner has been my constant companion this last week while David was in South Carolina on a business trip and Kaylee and Cade were taken care of by some great friends so my back could recuperate from being thrown out. Great timing, I know.

blessing day

Conner Patrick Williams was blessed on Sunday, September 7th by his Father. It was great to have some family come in and share this special day with us. Unfortunately I threw out my back the night before, so the day wasn't as relaxing as I wish it could have been. Conner was great through the blessing and he looked so handsome!

time-out musical chairs

Lately Kaylee, if sent to time-out, has begun singing "I am a Child of God." Here is how it's been sung:

"I am a Child of God, and he has sent me here, has given me an 'earfy' home, with parents kind and dear. Lead me, guide me, 'walk by myself'"....too silly Kaylee. I don't think David taught her that one, at least he says so (he usually takes pride in teaching her silly lyrics), like he has with "Give said the little stream" (go away, go away instead of give away, give away). This might be an instant Kaylee original.

I'll have to try and get it on tape. We have 'Give said the little stream' on tape and it's fun to watch.
