Grandma is in Town
Grandma Price came to visit us in March. We loved having her with us. She always takes good care of us...an anyone she visits. We gave her a little vinyl block that says "Grandmas are just antique little girls"

We can't wait for her to come out and visit us again. They will be coming to Arizona to celebrate Christmas with us. We gotta get some things on the calendar to do with them. Probably a visit to the Mesa Temple, then down to the Leaf and Feather Farm, an who knows what else.

no two are alike!
No matter if we're swimming the the pool, playing with toys or working together they always seem to have fun. Here I am watching Eden while Emilie goes to the Temple a few weeks before she has her second baby girl...Avi. I love Eden's curly hair!
Together Again!

In January Franziska Vogel came to visit me in Maricopa. She came to the states from Germany to celebrate New Years in New York City. After that she came to Maricopa and stayed with me for almost 2 weeks. Kelly also came down to stay too. It was great fun! I was so excited that Franziska would want to come all the way to Arizona just to see me. I love her so much. She's such a wonderful friend. I can't wait until the next time that I see her. Someday I'd like to travel to Germany and stay with Franziska. We had such a wonderful time together...and it was sad to say goodbye.
two year old princess
Kaylee is 2! She was so excited for her friends to come over and have some fun. I made a strawberry ice cream cake with pink cool whip in swirls on top of the white coolwhip that frosted the cake. I was HUGE when compared to Kaylee's size.
We had water fun outside and a nice barbecue with the parents of her friends. We had ladybugs and butterflies hanging from the ceiling balloons on the floor and streamers decorating the walls. When Kaylee woke from her nap she was mesmorized...she thought she was in some type of wonderland.

impression painting

One memoriable day while I was painting some signs for an upcoming family reunion I stepped into the front office for a moment to make some changes on the vinyl I was cutting and then came out no more than 5 minutes later. This is the surprise I got! Kaylee had gotten up to the paint on the table that I was using and decided to help me with the project. Poor Cade got the brunt of the mess. I called David, who was out of town, and told him about what had just happened. I wasn't sure how he would react, but he started to laugh. It seemed like he was laughing mostly because he knew he wouldn't have to clean it up.
Two Best Buddies
Kaylee loves Cade! I was so happy to see how excited she was to have Cade in the family. She was so gentle with him and happy to help take care of him. I've heard of older siblings being a bit rough with a new baby before, but luckily Kaylee wasn't that way. Now that they are a bit older its fun to see them interact with each other. It's fun to see Kaylee try and 'correct' Cade and of course it's fun to see Cade react. She's such a good little mommy in training! They are a cute pair. I love my kids!

Who's that?
OUCH?
This is
my MRI that I had in June 2007. It shows one herniated disc and two others that the neurosurgeon is worried about. It definately does prove that the pains I have been feeling for a while do have a reason to be there! Pain isn't fun, and pain the the back is a pain the the rear...literally. Sciatica is what I've been suffering with for a while.
I was finally able to get an epidural shot of steroids and that seems to be helping somewhat. I don't know what the future holds for me in terms of surgery or whatelse, but I'm hopeful.

Two Great Friends

Riley Jeppesen and Eden Gardner. We got together with the Jeppesens and Gardners for General Conference in April 2006. The Jeppesens were about to move to Maricopa after months of waiting and waiting and waiting. It was great fun to have more friends! Unfortunatley once the moved in and lived in Maricopa for a little while, they got a good job offer back up in Utah. They packed up and moved before too long. We sure do miss them, but we're still in touch!
Eden is still a great friend of Kaylees.
The Thompsons
One of my best friends growing up in Kansas, Ahnica came to Maricopa to visit for a day. She's been married for a few years to Micah...such a great guy!
They met in California singing in a choir. They got married just about a month after I had Kaylee. I wasn't able to make it to the wedding because of just giving birth. It was sad I couldn't make it. They had Eden in 2005. She is such a sweetie and so adorable! They are going to have another baby in October 2007. It's gonna be a boy! Not sure what they're gonna name it yet, but I hear one possibility is Cade! I'd say that's a pretty good choice.
